Order Early
Place your order early to allow for delays in shipping such as bad weather, holidays, or weekends. Have a Plan B if your poster is lost or damaged in transit, such as using 8.5" x 11" printouts of your PowerPoint slides.
Include with Carry-on When Flying
If you know you will be flying to the meeting, call the airline ahead of time to see if you might be able to include the poster tube with your carry-on baggage to avoid the problem of lost checked luggage.
Bring Various Hanging Supplies
Typically the surface of the display board will be some sort of cork or bulletin board that is suitable for tacks or push pins. However, it never hurts to bring along an extra roll of tape or sticky tac in case you're faced with a block wall.
