We can print 48" x 96". However, most people who initially inquire about at 48" x 96""poster end up preferring the 42" x 84" size. This is because the display area is typically 48" x 96" and a 42" x 84" poster fits nicely in that area while allowing a natural border to surround it.
All of our posters are shipped in cardboard tubes. However, we also offer a more professional carrying tube that comes with a removable shoulder strap. You can see these on the Accessories page. We offer 3 sizes: 25" ($13.95), 37" ($14.95), and 43" ($17.95).
In all of our years of experience, we have never heard of this being a problem.
We assure you that your poster will be printed at its proper orientation. We will compare the size that you order to the size and orientation of your file and make sure that it is printed appropriately.
We offer a variety of materials in which you can have your poster printed on. For more information on the types of materials, their specifications, and their uses, please refer to the About Our Posters page.
We do not offer lamination. Lamination not only increases the cost to our customers, but also adds undue glare. We offer a paper that is glossy, while not highly reflective. This allows a nice quality finish, yet high readability. If durability is your concern, all of our scientific posters are printed with water-resistant inks that resist smearing when in contact with water. Because laminating can double the cost of your scientific poster, it would be cheaper to order two glossy posters rather than a single laminated one!

Unfortunately, no. The 30% off discount on additional copies is valid when all copies are printed at the same time. However, we keep your order information and design on file so if you are ever interested in placing a reorder at a future date, we will be able to generate a regular priced reprint of your original order.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and now PayPal! We also accept Checks and Money Orders made out to Graphicsland, Inc.

Yes, our site is secure. In addition to using an https connection through the checkout process, we use SSL Certificates from Network Solutions to provide the strongest encryption available. You will notice the Network Solutions seal on the page where you enter your email address to begin the checkout process, as well as on the page where you enter your credit card information. If you click on the seal you will see up to date security information about our site. If you prefer, you can place your order online, then call us with the credit card information after you've placed the order.
Your credit card won't be charged until your order is reviewed and put in production. You will receive an email once your order is in production.
We do not charge sales tax on orders shipped outside Illinois. We are required to collect Illinois sales tax on orders shipped to Illinois (or picked up at our location), unless a valid Illinois Tax Exempt number is provided at the time of the sale. Our order form has a place for the IL tax exempt number just prior to the payment method. If you are not sure of your organization's tax exempt number when you place the order, just write "phone in" in the textbox and phone the number to us when you have it.
Most posters ordered by noon Central Time are printed the same day! The delivery date of your order is dependent on the method of shipping selected.
Sorry, we don't ship on customer FedEx accounts. This allows us full control over the shipping/tracking process. It also avoids the possibility of shipping on an inaccurate or invalid account. Our FedEx prices are not overinflated, and are frequently discounted from the FedEx standard prices.
We can ship your order to any location of your choosing. However, all of our orders are shipped with a MakeSigns.com packing list which will contain your name and address, and the recipient's name and address. You can request that the packing list not show any pricing information, i.e. if you were giving the item as a gift.
If requested, we can combine your order with your friend's order and ship them together. To request this put the names and order numbers (if the first order is already placed) associated with the signs to be shipped together in the Special Instructions of each order. We will then combine the shipping cost of the orders and ship them together. Please be sure to have the same shipping address entered in each order to avoid any confusion.
An ePoster is a digital version of your poster that we host for you. This means we put it online on its own webpage that you can edit and share.
In addition to being able to view a poster anywhere, you can also add additional details about your poster. This can include an abstract, name of school and program, or even contact details. You are also able to share you ePosters with others where they can view your ePoster or even download a PDF copy.
Log in to MakeSigns.com and go to My ePosters. Once there, you will see all of your ePosters where you can edit details, delete, view, or share your ePosters.
Anyone you give the link to will be able to see your poster. This means you can share your research on social media, with colleagues, or even with a potential employer. You can also delete your ePoster at any time.
When you print with MakeSigns.com, we provide this service at no extra cost.
All you need to do is check the "I want an ePoster" box when you add your poster to your cart. We will handle the rest and send you a link to your ePoster when your poster ships.
Absolutely! Just contact us with your order number and we will be happy to make an ePoster for you.
We will host your ePoster for at least 1 year. You do have the option delete your ePoster at any time, though.
You can delete your ePoster at anytime. Simply log in to MakeSigns.com and go to My ePosters. Once there, you can delete, edit details, view, or share.
Just contact us with your order number and we will attempt to make your ePoster available again. However, we cannot guarantee we will be able to restore it.
We can host as many ePosters as you'd like. You will be able to access all of your ePosters through your account by logging in to MakeSigns.com and going to My ePosters. However, others will only be able to view the ePosters that you provide them with a link to.
